The competition was dedicated to the memory of the Azov fighter, Hero of Ukraine (posthumously), Junior Lieutenant Nazarii “Grenka” Hryntsevych.

A recruit said at the opening, repeating Grenka’s favorite words. This Cup is not only about physical strength — it is about unity and remembrance, connecting new fighters with those who are no longer here. Such competitions bring people together, strengthen bonds, and inspire.

Participants completed two stages — CrossFit and obstacle-course elements, with both individual and team standings.

Nazarii Hryntsevych’s brothers-in-arms were present at the event, along with his family. His mother, Marianna Kolos, said it is important for them to see that the memory of her son and other fallen Azov fighters lives on in the recruits who are now joining the ranks.
