A sergeant is the bridge between officer and soldier. It is thanks to the sergeants that discipline, hierarchy, and a system that connects intent with execution are built within a unit. The sergeant corps has always been — and remains — the backbone of any army.

Colonel Denys “Redis” Prokopenko encouraged the sergeants to preserve their professional mastery, continue developing it, and pass it on to their brothers-in-arms.
